Reminder for NEW FINS families or 1st time team swimmers, tomorrow (Monday) May 13th is your first practice. Practice is from 5:00-6:30 PM at the Farmington Pool.  The coaches will tell you, at this practice, which practice group your swimmer will report to starting Tuesday.

Regular afternoon practices for all swimmers begins Tuesday, May 14th.  Afternoon practice schedule is below.  Returning swimmers please report to the group you last practiced with in 2023.

May 14-17 and 20-23, 2024

• 4:30 pm - Advanced Swimmers
• 5:20 pm - Developing/Intermediate Swimmers
• 6:10 pm - Beginning Swimmers

*Thursday May 16th, the 6:10pm beginners group practice is cancelled. We were informed last week that Farmington has a neighborhood meeting starting at 7 and they are asking that the parking lot be be completely cleared by 6:30pm.  We are extending Friday May 17 practice an additional 15-20 minutes (weather permitting) for any beginner group swimmers that would like to stay.

*Parking is always our biggest challenge.  Please refrain from parking on grassy areas, in front of any resident's driveway or anywhere clearly marked or roped off. Please be sure to park within the lines so as not to block any open spaces.

*Augusta Swim Supply will be at all practice times Wednesday, May 15th with suits on hand.  If you need to try on a suit, we highly recommend you come 15-20 minutes before your practice time to try on the suit while DRY.

*Please remind your swimmers of some basic practice rules/etiquette:

1. Respect their coaches - they are to be attentive, listen when the coach is speaking, and follow directions.

2. NO FOUL LANGUAGE OR GESTURES!

3. No sitting or hanging on the lane ropes at any time.

4. No RUNNING!

5. Appropriate swimwear required.

Girls: No two pieces/bikinis. Your suit should cover you appropriately. Absolutely NO THONGS! Please try to avoid cheeky bottoms and any sheer material.

Boys: If wearing swim briefs, please wear shorts, over the briefs, between events or while not actively practicing.
